Journey off the Map

Last Monday we started a week filled with VBS!!!  

" and whenever we turn to the right or to the left, our ears will hear this command..this is the way, walk in it." Isaiah 30:12

Ms. Twyla & Ms. Madison were Greer's teachers this year!!  She did so well.  She never cried & went everyday to her class all by herself.  I was so very proud of her!!!

I so enjoyed seeing their sweet smiling faces when they would come see me for music time!!

Mam and Greer

Emma always comes to spend the week during VBS.  Greer & Emma had the best time playing & spending time with each other as cousins.  I love their sweet, loving relationship they have with one another.  Six years difference between their ages, but you would never know.  They play dolls, run outside, ride tricycles, frisbee, puzzles, color...you name it...these girls are going to have a good time doing it!

TGIF!!!  I can't think of better way to spend a week out of our summer.  I love VBS and serving the Lord, but on Friday we were all beat & took a well-deserved nap that afternoon!!!

Too much of a good thing!!!  

Swimming lessons & Degray Lodge

Two weeks ago we headed off for some fun-filled days at Degray Lodge and for Greer to take swimming lessons at HSU.

Just me and my girl enjoying some sunshine out by the pool.  Poor Daddy had meetings during the day to attend for school.

But in the afternoons we had him all to ourselves!!

I love this girl so much.  So much fun!!

Last year was the first year for Greer to take swimming lessons.  I was really impressed this year how she had no fear of the water, except for the fact she was not going to put her head under.

We had the best time playing on the playground, swimming & just relaxing as a family.  We can't wait until next year!!

Memorial weekend

Greer got a lot of bubbles for her birthday so we have been spending evenings out blowing bubbles!!
