JUNE!!!

I can't believe June is over and here we are already in July!!!  I will blink and we will be gearing up for back to school!!  I have mixed emotions on that subject...so humor me as I reminisce about all the crazy, busy....fun we had last month!!!

We survived Dance Recital 2017!!!

Every year we have VBS and every year Daddy let's us a tag along with him to Degray Lodge for his annual Summer conference...well...so happened this year both fell on the same week!!  We made it work though and had a BLAST doing so!!

All those smiles gives me all kinds of heart eyes :)

This year while at the Lodge we went on a Sunset Cruise....

 

she couldn't contain her excitement....or it was the sugar talking from the Butterfinger she just devoured upon boarding the boat:)

  I'll admit I was so hung up that week on how logistically I was going to make it all work...VBS and our annual fun family time!  I sometimes get so caught up in the "what's next on my to do" I forget to enjoy the "right at this very moment"!!  Our VBS theme was Galactic Starveyors and it reminds even three weeks later what an AWESOME God we serve!!  How HE loved me so much HE created the beautiful world in which I live and then HE gave me the perfect family to enjoy it all with!!  

 

On our way in and out of the lodge each day there was a horse riding stable we passed.  Of course two animal loving girls had to stop and "pet" the horses;)

 

Next thing I knew I was being talked into a horseback trail ride!!

 One of my fondest memories growing up was with Poppa.  He took himself, a friend and I horseback riding in Eureka Springs!!

While I was in music at VBS, this girl was living it up at snacks, crafts and having fun with all her friends in class!!

What week is not complete without a trip to our local sale barn??  You really never know where you will find Greer & I!!!  LOL!!!

Our next stop for the month was Conway!!  Daddy had to be away so the girls tagged along to play:)

We attended the All-Star softball game, to where one of our own Lady Outlaws was starring in...swam in the indoor pool...

and checked out downtown where we discovered Share The Love!!  Such a cool play place and 5% of its profits goes to the local CALL ministry!!

 

After a little lunch, we strolled downtown and did a little shopping:)

Earlier in the day, Greer had spotted a bridal boutique.  She kept begging her Daddy and I to take her in, and once inside she was met with the most beautiful gowns, glittering tiaras, high-heeled shoes and the sweetest shop keepers.  One of them came over introduced herself to Greer as Kelsy and asked if she would like to wear a crown while she "shopped" around the store.  Needless to say Greer's day was made at that moment!!  My day was made when Kelsey took pictures for their IG account and shared them with me!!

We celebrated month end with Poppa and Mam over Chinese and stickers!!!  June you were so much fun!!  Thanks for the memories!!!
