New York City
Spring Break led us to the Big Apple. Here we are just arriving, having just landed in New York!!
Since leaving at 12:30 AM, traveling by bus to Dallas to hop on our 6 AM flight to New York....lunch was our first order of business!!
Enjoying a Gray Papaya hot dog just like the locals!!
After lunch, we hopped back on the our tour bus with our amazing guide, Paula and headed to the MET!
Burgers for dinner at Jack Dempsey's.
What better way to end your first day in New York City than on top of the Empire State Building!!
Day two led us to this beautiful cathedral.
Famous Tom's Restaurant
Just a little cool street corner market we had to stop in and get some strawberries and blueberries.
Part of the Columbia University campus
Legendary Apollo Theater
The weather was perfect for enjoying part of the morning at Central Park!
Inside the park at Strawberry Fields.
After our morning tour of Cental Park, we had a few hours that afternoon to stroll Rockfellar Center and do some Fifth Avenue shopping.
First stop was....
Greer had saved a gift card she received for Christmas just for this special occasion. I think Mam and I had as much fun helping pick out clothes and accessories for her doll as Greer did:)
A quick bite at Trump Tower.
Then we headed down the street to Tiffany's
What's in your blue bag, Mam??
Beautiful St. Patrick's Cathedral
My favorite night was on Broadway!!
WICKED!!
Patiently waiting before show. So goofy family selfies were a must!!
I can't say enough how fabulous the show was!! Afterwards we walked a block or two to Times Square for a group photo!!
#cuties
Day three started with the famous Carlos Bake Shop! Every pregnant girl's dream!!!
"Oh hey there Carlos!!"
Girl needed a sack for her treats!
Driving by new World Trade Center.
Beautiful view snapped of NYC while on ferry ride to explore the Statue of Liberty!!
There she is in all her glory!!
Our group was some of the few that scored tickets that allowed us to go up on her pedestal!! So cool!!
The afternoon was spent at the 9/11 Memorial.
A most humbling experience.
We headed to Little Italy that evening for an Italian dinner!! Can I say YUMM-O!!
One last look at Times Square the last night and these two cuties found M&M world. I didn't even ask how much he spent on that bag of M&M's??!!
Gangs all here!! Such a fun group to hang with all week!!
We had the most beautiful weather all week, but the last day it was raining and drizzling. We toured by bus most of the morning and ended up at Macy's for a quick bite and shopping before heading to the airport to head back home to Arkansas!! New York you were fun!
