Happy Birthday!!!!

Two weeks ago on May 4, 2016 Greer turned 4!!!  Seriously...how in the world did that happen??? I blinked!!! I was quite emotional heading up to it.  I mean next year at this time we will be going to Kindergarten round up & preparing to start school the next fall (insert sobbing):(  I miss her so much being snuggled on my shoulder, but it is amazing to see the world through your eyes and see your face light up when you learn something new.  "Oh the places you'll go" sweet girl :)

Greer wanted to celebrate with a mermaid splash and swim party at the water park when it opens in a couple of weeks, so we celebrated at home with a play date and pizza, then that night we shared cupcakes with our friends at church:)

This mermaid can't wait until her party...she is counting down the days!!!

SATURDAY!!

A couple weeks ago, we woke up Friday morning to flash flooding!!!  So what are girls supposed to do with muddy puddles....JUMP...JUMP...JUMP!!!

After surviving the monsoons of Spring, Saturday morning came and brought hope of sunshine!!!  We were so glad because these two gals had races to run:)

I ran the 5k & Greer ran her first ever fun run at the Caddo River Fest! Pep talks with Ms. Kara are a must before any big race;)

After a rocky start, a slight detour & DRAMATIC finish...Greer was showing off her medal to Daddy:)

Next up Greer had to perform with her dance class from Shannon's at center stage.  Total chaos:)

After some lunch and a power nap,  it was G-O time for the long- awaited Davis-Putz wedding:) 

It turned out to be the most beautiful of days & the most gorgeous of venues:)

Greer enjoyed gathering up all the leftover rose petals & playing BRIDE:)

She wanted her daddy to be her boyfriend,,,LOL!!!

I pray you always want that until you're 35 & then you can marry someone just like Daddy:)

Seriously,  can we talk about how old I feel in this picture...Jacynda was our minature bride...almost 17 years ago!!!  Time flies when you're in LOVE!!!

Mam & Papa surprised the birthday girl a few weeks early with her gift!!  She was so excited!!!  Of course Mam had it all equipped with the cutest of curtains and front porch pillows:)
